Today was Raku Club day, a grey, wet, mildewy day and only 12 hours before the skies were blue, bright and clear. That’s often how things occur in the pottery world, and it didn’t stop us lighting up the ole gas.
This was our first get together as a group. We were all experienced in different ways and collectively we seemed to have everything needed to make this event a success.
First firing took us about double the time required for a straight forward Raku but we were erring on the side of ….careful!
I think it was worth it, because everyone seemed to have a very satisfied result. What do you think? if you have any questions, feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org
